Job description

Deliver advanced level evidenced based Neuropsychology services for Mental Health Consumers to optimise health outcomes and coordinate supported transition to community in Metro North. Join this new initiative for up to 12 months with possibility of extension.

About the role

The purpose of this role is to deliver advanced level, evidenced based Neuropsychology services and coordination of care for consumers of the Mental Health Intensive Discharge Team (MIND), their carers and relevant stakeholders, as part of an interprofessional team to expediate discharge from Metro North Mental Health Facilities.

  • Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA). Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
  • Mandatory possession of a tertiary degree qualification in Psychology from a recognised tertiary institution, full general registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA), and endorsement as a Neuropsychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia.
  • Accreditation (or ability to readily obtain accreditation within 12 months) as a supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.
