Description
Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the power industry in Australia.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including engineering firms, utilities, and industrial customers.
- Understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise and solutions tailored to their needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.
- Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing, ensuring customer satisfaction and existing business.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments and competitor activities.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the power industry or related technical field.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented approach to sales.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
What's on offer
On offer is a competitive base salary of $100,000 - $110,000 + 11% superannuation + quarterly commission. You will qualify for reimbursements if any travel is required. In addition, you will have to opportunity to travel domestically, as well as the potential for possible international travel.
