New Grad / Early Career Occupational Therapist

About the Role:

We are looking for a New Grad or Early CareerOccupational Therapist to join a wonderful mobile team on the Gold Coast!

In this role you will work autonomously to delivery OT services to your caseload of clients 16years and older in their home and the community setting. In this role you will receive 1:1 mentoring from an experienced OT as well as clinical lead. 

Your clients in this position will include NDIS, DVA, My Aged Care (HCP) & private clients. Any additional training and skillset in home mods, AT, driving modifications / assessments will be greatly valued. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Regular therapies conducted in people’s homes and in the community
• Functional capacity assessments and reports
• Assistive technology assessments and reports
• Home modifications

This role a full time position. Part time will also be considered.

About You:

• Relevant Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Full AHPRA registration + insurance
• A passion for high-quality service delivery
• Strong communication and report writing skills 
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organisational skills 
• Excellent time management skills
• Own car and current driver's license 
• CPR/ First aid (or willingness to obtain)
• Current police check (or willingness to obtain)
• COVID vaccinations (up to date)
• Eligible to work permanently in Australia
