This established Occupational Rehabilitation division is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist who is eager to work in a collaborative and social team, managing a varied caseload in beautiful Byron Bay.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of valued clients. As an Occupational Therapist, you will use your initiative to solve problems and work creatively and collaboratively to secure the best outcomes for your clients! This role will see you providing assessment and case management services to clients who have experienced an injury or illness with the aim to regain their independence and return to meaningful workplace occupations.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Take a holistic approach & apply your skills to assist your client’s recovery from injury.
- Conduct a range of assessments including Home and Functional assessments.
- Workplace assessments & return to work plans.
- Case management & reports- liaising with a range of stakeholders.
- Restoring the functional performance of clients to the highest possible level.
You will come to the role with the following skills:
- Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy
- AHPRA registration
- Occupational Rehabilitation or clinical experience is regarded however not essential.
- High level reporting skills
- A positive, professional, and friendly manner
- Driver’s license
