About your new role 
 
Due to our expanding Gold Coast Team we have a newly created role available for New Graduate or Experienced Occupational Therapists!
 
This is an exciting new opportunities for a New Graduate or Experienced OT to join an award-winning team of professional Rehabilitation Consultants in the Northern Rivers Region.
 
Within your new role as a Rehabilitation Consultant you will be inducted through an extensive training induction based at our head office in Sydney we offer ongoing support from your team leader and buddy system to set you up for success. 
 
This is a full-time opportunity your day will include:  

• Managing a portfolio of return-to-work clients 
• Completing one-off assessments and making recommendations  
• Attending medical appointments and communicating complex medical information back to insurer customers  
• Initial assessments, workplace assessments, ADL assessments  
• Writing insurance reports 
• Communicating with injured worker, employer, Doctor and other medical professionals to ensure appropriate intervention 
• Facilitating a safe and timely graduated return to work plan 
• Documenting case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements  

About You: 

• Tertiary qualified as a Occupational Therapist
• Full registration with AHPRA
• Car and valid Driver’s license
• Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Customer service driven with “can do attitude”
