About the Role:
Join a dedicated team where your role as a Registered Nurse is pivotal in providing exceptional care to vulnerable patients. As a newly graduated nurse, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure optimal care for up to 20 consumers in the Taree Mental Health Inpatient unit.
Supported by experienced professionals including our Clinical Nurse Educator, Nurse Unit Manager, and your peers you will also participate in ongoing training at Newcastle as part of our esteemed New Graduate program.
Where You'll Be Working:
Located at Manning Base Hospital, the Taree Mental Health Unit offers comprehensive inpatient care for individuals with Mental Health conditions. Led by a seasoned Nurse Manager and Nurse Unit Manager, our nursing workforce is committed lead changes and processes to benefit the care of our consumers.
In addition to an incredible nursing team the unit is staffed with a solid Allied health and Medical team.
Taree, located on the Manning River, is a historic town and the vibrant centre of the Manning Valley. It's a perfect starting point for exploring the scenic national parks and beautiful beaches of the Barrington Coast.

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
