About the Opportunity
As the Night Auditor, you will fill a pivotal role within the RACV Hobart hotel. You will oversee the operation of the hotel in the absence of the hotel management team. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer service and all daily reporting are met. Previous guest service experience, preferably in a full-service hotel, is essential. Your experience and expertise will focus on maximizing profits, exceeding guest and member expectations, and assisting your colleagues.
This is a casual position. You will be enthusiastic and friendly with a can-do attitude, you’ll have the flexibility to work shifts across Sunday and Monday evening between the hours of 11:00pm - 7:00am. You’ll be rostered to meet the peak and flow of business demands.
What you'll need to be successful
- At least 2 years’ previous experience in a hotel front office environment
- An understanding of the local area and attractions
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time management skills with a strong ability to multitask
- Strong computer skills and brand POS experience
- Great attention to detail
- Capacity to respond quickly to guest requests and complaints in a professional yet friendly manner
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Capability of working autonomously and as part of a team environment
