We seek an experienced and enthusiastic Electrician to join our maintenance team. 

About the Role

This role is integral to maintaining a large hi-tech printing operation. Key responsibilities include the following:

• Routine inspections of plant and equipment to identify and correct wear or damage, and ensure minimal disruption to scheduled production
• Determine the cause of plant and equipment electrical breakdowns and undertake maintenance and repair to ensure minimal disruption to scheduled production
• Experience in manufacturing is highly regarded.
• Help ensure the continuous reliability of electrical safety systems installed on plant and equipment
• ·Assist with designing, developing and/or modifying new and existing plant and equipment to meet production and safety requirements
• Communicate with Operational Departments to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently
• Provide assistance during the electrical installation/relocation of plant and equipment

 About You

The successful applicant will be a team player with a positive attitude and have the following experience and attributes:

• A qualified Electrician with several years of fault finding experience, ideally in a fast-paced business.
• Proficiency in using FIX or other CMMS highly regarded.
• PLC, VSD and automation experience essential.
• Experience with printing equipment will be highly regarded but is not essential
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle yourself well under pressure
• Accountability and high level of attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Confined space, EWP and forklift licenses highly regarded but not essential.
