Nominated Supervisor, Educational Leader & Early Childhood Teacher

• Fixed term, part-time role for 12 months to cover a period of parental leave
• 25.5 hours per week, working Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
• Competitive hourly rate, $39.33 - $58.95 depending on qualifications and experience

  At Corangamite Shire Council we are looking for a dynamic and collaborative ECT and leader with a passion for delivering exceptional early years services. This role requires a skilled individual capable of coordinating staff, programs, policies, and resources effectively. Join us in making a meaningful impact on Early Childhood education and care in our community.     What you will do: A dedicated professional, in this role you will collaborate with service staff to develop and implement a high-quality Early Childhood education program, assessment, and planning cycle in accordance with relevant regulations and quality standards.   What you can bring:

• Bachelor of Education Early Childhood or equivalent degree qualification in accordance with requirements of the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010, Education and Care Services National Regulations 2012 and the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority, with a current VIT card or ability to obtain.
• Extensive knowledge of child development and capabilities in planning, implementing, and evaluating a quality play-based Early Childhood education program, with the ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals.
• Leadership in delivery of inclusive practice to improve access, equity, and social justice outcomes, with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and development
• Knowledge of, and commitment to, current reforms and best practice in Early Childhood education and care.
• Well-developed oral, written, and technological communication skills
• Current police check, working with children’s check and Victorian drivers licence, or ability to obtain
• Demonstrated commitment to our core values of teamwork, integrity, and respect
