As a Non-Residential Withdrawal Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in supporting clients on their journey towards recovery. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Registered Nurse Grade 3 holding current AHPRA Registration
- Tertiary Qualifications and or experience in the Drug and Alcohol treatment services
- Demonstrated experience in working with clients with complex needs
- Sound understanding of primary care and commitment to the Social Model of Health.
- Understanding and commitment to a multidisciplinary team approach to health management
- Proven ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
- Well-developed written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to liaise and communicate with a wide range of health professionals
- Ability to perform in a changing work environment
- Current Victorian Drivers Licence
- Ability to work therapeutically in a range of environments that includes centre based, assertive outreach and other community forums
Qualifications:
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Division 1 Registered Nurse
