Job Description:Fixed Term and Permanent positions availableChallenging and rewarding work environmentRotating rosterAbout the RoleThis critical position within SVHM is responsible for the delivery of expert clinical care within a specific area in the Emergency Department under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or Associate Nurse Unit Manager. Working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, you will be required to use your exceptional clinical skills to efficiently and accurately plan, coordinate and evaluate care needs to ensure high quality care in a rapidly changing environment.Additionally, you will:Administer medication in accordance with hospital procedures, protocols and policiesDocument, observe and report relevant findings within the framework of nursing progressLiaise with patient, patient’s family, medical and ancillary staff as requiredClassifications for this position will range from YP3 - YP9 ($69,253.60 - $92,601.60 base salary per annum).Your ContributionAs an experienced, motivated and passionate Registered Nurse you will bring demonstrated knowledge and commitment to a patient-centred care framework. In addition to this, there is a behavioural assessment room, procedure and a plaster room as well as a triage assessment chair and a 3-chair diagnostic lounge which supports patient flow into the department.
