OzHarvest are currently looking for a magnificent individual to join our Adelaide Nourish Program Team as the Nourish Program Support Trainer. The Nourish Program is designed to engage young people who are at risk of facing lifelong disengagement from education, training and employment. Offering more than hospitality skills, it creates hope, opportunity and supported pathways for young people.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Support the Adelaide Nourish Lead Trainer in the overall running of the program in line with current OzHarvest practices, procedures and program aims.
- Support the facilitation of the program.
- Provide guidance and support to the participants during and post-course completion.
- Supporting students to achieve their educational and developmental potential, navigating personal and social situations, and facilitating opportunities for the individual to build community connections.
To be successful you will have:
- Certificate IV Training and Assessment: TAE40116 or TAE40110 and the following two units of competency: TAELLN411 Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills, TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools.
- Relevant qualification and experience in commercial cookery – Minimum Certificate II in Cookery.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Dedication to support young people facing barriers to education and employment
