Role Overview:
Commencing in July 2024, UnitingSA is seeking a resilient and spirited part-time Program Support Officer (PSO) to provide administrative assistance to our new Home and Financial Stability team. Located at Port Adelaide and comprising of Homelessness Services, Financial Counselling, Micro Finance and Emergency Relief programs, our dedicated staff deliver support, material aid and hope to many South Australian’s in crisis. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Administrative support to HFS programs.
- Coordinate office administration and accounting functions for HFS programs.
- Implement administrative systems and maintain procedures and policies.
- Provide support, build relationships and maintain sensitivity towards customers from a variety of backgrounds.
- Respond to internal and external consumers and other enquiries.
- Provide appropriate support and hospitality to external visitors.
- Develop community networks with services and support agencies.
- Contribute to the work of the service by supporting people to meet their needs.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience in working in a first point of contact, customer service environment, preferably on reception. (essential)
- Experience greeting clients of vulnerable and/or diverse backgrounds
- A Certificate III/IV in Business Administration or related discipline and/or equivalent experience in a similar role (essential)
