The NPI Engineer will be the he link between the Engineering team, the Production team and Supply Chain team to ensure that new products are successfully handed over from the design phase to the manufacturing and production phase.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Release of required manufacturing documentation (BOMs, Work Instructions, Process Workflow and Time Studies)
· Implement and align NPI strategy with all internal stakeholders across the business
· Drive the development and transfer of production equipment, tools, jigs to manufacturing
· Ensure production operators and quality inspectors are trained to consistently product quality product
· Manage and coordinate prototype and pilot builds in manufacturing; release build reports and drive validation activities
· Comply with all obligations under Work Health and Safety legislation
· Ensure adherence to Stage Gate product development processes when introducing new products to manufacturing
You will require the following skills and experience to be successful:
· A Bachelors Degree in Production Engineering or equivalent
· Robust experience in both Manufacturing and Product Development roles
· Strong background in high-volume manufacturing of consumer-grade products will be highly regarded
· Strong computer literacy skills --- including knowledge of Microsoft Office, MRP and ERP Systems
· Ability to work across all levels of the organization and across the business
· Strong process-orientation, attention to detail and project management skills
· Ability to be proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment
