The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a self-driven and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Systems Support Engineer. Reporting to the ICT Operations Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring all ICT systems and services are well supported and maintained and that all staff ICT needs and issues are addressed.
Key Responsibilities
The role is Service Desk driven across first and second level support.
You will:
- Be involved in all facets of the ICT environment including the day-to-day operational components.
- Cover all levels of support and maintenance for software and hardware platforms across the business.
- Document our environment, systems and processes
- Deliver documents of an exceptional standard.
The Successful Candidate

You’ll also:
- Be able to prioritise and manage your own time while juggling multiple tasks
- Enjoy working in a small fast paced team environment.
- Thrive working under pressure to deliver results
- Demonstrate strong listening and communication skills with the ability to understand business requirements.
- Be capable of maintaining ICT standards and security practices.
- Enjoy working across traditional silos of ICT,
- Be willing and able to dig into a technology stack at the lowest levels when required
Tertiary qualifications are not essential, but you should have experience working with the Microsoft technology stack. IT Graduates and applicants with limited experience will be considered.
You will be working with a variety of technologies, including but not limited to:
- Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams (Voice, Unified Communications) and Windows 11
- Apple iPhones and Mobile Device Management platforms
- Microsoft Active Directory administration, Group Policy
- Endpoint protection and other IT security applications
- Software packaging and deployment via Microsoft SCCM
- Microsoft Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019), Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and Hyper-V
