Nrl Tonight Producer

• Write and edit content for a daily 30-minute NRL program.

Your role is to produce a daily 30-minute NRL program that is broadcast on FOX SPORTS News & FOX League during the NRL season. You are responsible for all key aspects of the program including story selection, content development, guest booking and line producing. Outside of NRL season, you will be expected to contribute to all aspects of FOX SPORTS News as a producer involving some weekend and early morning/late evening work.

What’s the role?

• Write and edit content for NRL Tonight program
• Decide upon program structure and story treatment and liaise with hosts to execute
• Liaise with FOX League staff to coordinate coverage and interviews
• Liaise with NRL and club media managers to arrange live and pre-recorded interviews
• Work directly with studio staff to execute a live program
• Produce content and bulletins for FOX SPORTS News outside of NRL season

Who you are

• Minimum of three years television producing experience
• Ability to write and edit content for on-air use
• In-depth knowledge and passion for NRL, along with strong knowledge base of other sports
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situation (including live TV)
• Experience with ENPS & Quantel desirable
