Join Georgiou as our NSW Commercial Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our NSW Operation. You'll be an integral part of our Senior Leadership team, leading and developing a high-performing commercial culture focused on delivering financial excellence.
Your key duties will be to:
- Own the commercial helm: Take full responsibility for managing contracts, budgets, risk, and compliance across all projects within NSW.
- Lead with impact: Mentor and empower your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Sharpen the financial edge: Implement best practices, leverage technology, and drive accurate reporting to maximize profitability.
- Build winning partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Innovate and optimise: Identify and implement solutions that streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously expand your knowledge of industry trends, legal changes, and best practices.
What you’re good at:
Aside from having a relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Quantity Surveying, Accounting, Construction Management, Economics or similar, you are:
- A seasoned professional with extensive experience leading commercial aspects of large civil infrastructure projects for a tier 1/2 contractor.
- A confident and decisive leader with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A detail-oriented individual with a deep understanding of commercial, contract, and insurance law.
- A tech-savvy professional proficient in ERP, project planning software, and other relevant tools.
- A passionate advocate for continuous improvement and innovation.
