The Role
Located in the Wollongong CBD, this role will present you with the opportunity to work within an award-winning team of Commercial Property professionals, while being supported by a solid organisational structure and great company culture. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing tenant relations, ensuring the properties are well-maintained, and maximising profitability.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Ongoing management of a diverse array of commercial properties.
- Oversee lease renewals, reviews, and arrears.
- Assessment, negotiation and management of vendor and service contracts.
- Regular inspection of commercial properties being managed.
- Identification of deficiencies and recommendation of value-enhancing property improvements.
- Consistent compliance with relevant industry requirements and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain healthy professional relationships with key stakeholders (including clients, property tenants, vendors, and contractors).
About You
You are an experienced Commercial Property Manager who enjoys working with a diverse portfolio of clients and commercial tenants. You enjoy a team environement but are comfortable managing your portfolio with minimum guidance. You will also have:
- Several years proven Commercial Property experience.
- Sound financial acumen and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously with little or no supervision, and in a team environment.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
- Ability to establish strong and healthy relationships both internally and externally.
- Strong IT skils including the Microsoft suite of programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Valid NSW real estate assistant agent certificate of registration or higher.
- Valid Australian Drivers’ License.
- Valid right to work in Australia.
