Based in our Albury clinics, at both Albury Wodonga Health and our North East Health Wangaratta clinic rooms, a permanent full-time opportunity exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our friendly and collaborative team. You will be rostered Monday to Friday, with shifts between 7am – 6pm, with on call requirement.
Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine/PET including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who is willing to learn in a busy private practice and hospital settings.
This position could be suited to a new graduate or a more established Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
Some of your responsibilities will include and are not limited to:
- Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radio-pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
- Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
- Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
- Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
- Applicants must be AHPRA Registered and hold a NSW/VIC radiation license
