Exciting opportunity to join Tweed Valley Hospital, a new, major referral hospital at the heart of the network of hospitals and health facilities across the Tweed-Byron region.
The new state of the art facility will include:
- more operating theatres and recovery spaces
- expanded emergency department
- enhanced medical, surgical, and mental health services
- enhanced ambulatory care services including more outpatient clinics
- new interventional cardiology service
- new radiotherapy service as part of a new integrated cancer care service.

Employment will commence at The Tweed Hospital in preparation for the transition to Tweed Valley Hospital (TVH), which will open to patients on 14 May 2024.
If you have:
- Current registration with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Medical Radiation Practitioner – Nuclear Medicine Technologist with high level of competency within area/s of specialty (as deemed relevant by the award) with a minimum of 12 months experience in those relevant area/s.
- Current NSW EPA Radiation User Licence in the following categories: IA16 and S14
- Demonstrated ability to manage integrated radiology systems including PET scanner, Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) and PACS/RIS
