Nurse Consultant – Long-Acting HIV Therapy: Perth
- 0.5 FTE (2.5 days per week)
- 12-month fixed-term contract with potential for extension
About the Role:
Are you a passionate RN looking to make a real impact?
We are seeking a Nurse Consultant to deliver HIV therapies and patient education. Work in a supportive environment, administering long-acting therapies and improving patients' quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care and education on long-acting HIV therapies.
- Manage and schedule appointments for 15-25 patients per month initially, with potential for growth.
- Educate on injection site management and coordinate patient appointments.
- Work with multidisciplinary teams to complete QoL surveys.
- Keep confidential patient records and report on performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with 5+ years of clinical experience.
- Experience in HIV care preferred; Post Graduate Qualifications in sexual health or HIV are a plus.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
