Are you a nurse experienced in advanced customer service and looking to extend your skills? Do you have the sensitivity and compassion needed to assist patients in their fertility journey? Working in a multidisciplinary team you will be enthusiastic and empathetic and will find this a highly satisfying role.
Duties Involve:
- To provide the highest possible standard of nursing care to patients receiving ART treatment within established clinical policies and procedures and in accordance with clinicians instructions, whilst remaining non-judgmental and maintaining strict patient confidentiality at all times.
- To provide the highest possible standard of customer service to all patients and clinicians, ensuring initiative is used to meet the needs of our patients and doctors.
- To act as primary patient liaison and advocate and to provide patients with ongoing information, education, support and reassurance throughout their treatment cycle.
- To participate in and contribute to work groups established from time to time focused on areas of significance to the broader interests of IVFAustralia but not necessarily directly related to the nursing function.
- To contribute to a team working environment where workloads and rosters are equitably shared with other nurses under the direction of the Unit Nurse Manager.
- To maintain strong functional relationships and open communication with other nurses, clinical, scientific and administration staff within the unit.
- To participate in research activities and quality management systems.
Essential Qualifications:
- AHPRA Nursing Registration
- At least 2 years post Registration experience
- Excellent customer service
Desired:
- Venepuncture
- Previous women’s health experience
