Redland Hospital is an acute secondary teaching hospital, specialising in integrated care with close and effective links with the local GP services and the community. It provides care in the specialities: Cardiology, Level 4 Emergency Department, General Medicine, Palliative Care, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Level 4 Special Care Nursery, Obstetrics, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Rehabilitation, Renal Dialysis and a range of Allied Health and other clinical support services such as Pharmacy, Pathology and Medical Imaging.

About the Role
The Nurse Educator is accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, assessment and evaluation of Stradbroke ward nursing education programs, managing educational resources and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues in meeting the strategic priorities of Nursing Services within Metro South Health (MSH). The Nurse Educator leads and supports a culture of development and enquiry which actively encourages and facilitates clinical, professional and organisational learning within a Supported Practice Framework.
