About you:
You are a dedicated Clinical Nurse and posses the capability to act as a leader at an advanced level to deliver clinical learning support and contribute to professional nursing/midwifery practice. You will have the ability to effectively plan and coordinate education or learning activities for individuals and/or groups.
Your opportunity:
The Clinical Facilitator works in collaboration with the service educator and manager and engage in and facilitate the development of a learning culture and models evidence-based practice at an advanced level relevant to the work area. Clinical Facilitators develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clinicians and educators to enable education services to be available and accessible within the clinical setting. This role encompasses diverse coordination, provision and monitoring of work-area based clinical education and training, clinical learning support and clinical supervision of nurses and/or midwives.
Your role:
- Work collaboratively, with manager/s and educator, to plan, implement, and evaluate clinical learning opportunities at a workplace level to support clinicians to provide evidence-based practice.
- Major portfolios for this position include orientation of new nurses and midwives, learning development of nurses and midwives within the service area, review, and management of mandatory and requisite education requirements.
- Collaborates with manager/s and educator/s to lead quality and research activities; for example, conducting and evaluating audits to devise learning plans to address outcomes.
