About the Role
This is a clinical leadership position, and you will co-ordinate and facilitate education opportunities to advance the professional development of the nursing team. The Clinical Support Nurses report to the Nurse Educators, collectively providing bedside clinical support 7 days per week. The Nurse Educator is integral to workforce development at Mildura Base Public Hospital.
As a member of the Clinical Learning and Development team, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to organisation-wide educational programs.
This position is part time (0.5 FTE), fixed term July 2024.
About You
Passionate for educating and supporting the nursing workforce, you will have innovative thinking, and be solution orientated and self-motivated.
What You Need:
- Current AHPRA registration
- Relevant qualifications as per the position description
- Demonstrated experience in sub-acute nursing
- A personal approach which is positive, enthusiastic, friendly and helpful
