Nurse Manager - Infection, Prevention and Control Unit (IPCU)

The role:The Nurse Manager:

• Provides leadership and manages the coordination of the Infection Prevention Control across THS Hospitals South inclusive of Community and Sub-acute sectors.
• Demonstrates advanced knowledge, skills, and expertise in relation to Infection Prevention and Control.
• Work within a skilled and dynamic team
• Provide leadership in contemporary nursing practice and promote an environmental conducive to innovation and change.
• Supports the efficient and effective provision of care, based on clinical standards and best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework by coordinating the clinical, management, education and nursing research functions for the IPCU within a health service/facility.

Salary:$118,801 - $125,301 per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

• Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type
• Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annum
• Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013

The following checks are to be conducted: * Conviction checks in the following areas:

• crimes of violence
• sex related offences
• serious drug offences
• crimes involving dishonesty
• Identification check
• Disciplinary action in previous employment check.
