About the Role

Warners Bay Private Hospital has a great opportunity for an experienced Mental Health Nurse to take on a key leadership and management role.

This position is accountable for the efficient and effective management of all human and material resources within the Mental Health services of Ramsay Lakeside Clinic. Lakeside offers a safe haven for adults seeking personalised and compassionate treatment through inpatient, day and community programs using advanced treatment options. 

Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, this role encompasses planning, implementing and evaluating practices, processes and services within the hospital. The role requires working with and supporting the Nurse Unit Managers and Allied Health Manager in Lakeside clinic in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.

You hold the ability to inspire, motivate and mentor your team. You are a leader with a passion for seeing your team members succeed and grow while bringing a passion for a high level of client care and service.

You will also bring:

• Relevant qualifications and registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 5 years’ post graduate Mental Health nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience in the Mental Health specialty area
• Sound understanding of contemporary Human Resources Management practices
• Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and material resources
• Ability to plan, develop, implement and evaluate a continuous improvement program
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded
• Previous experience in a management position
