AddressLocated on the beautiful Central Coast of New South Wales, Gosford Private Hospital has been the largest and most comprehensive private hospital on the Central Coast for over 40 years and has played a pivotal role in providing quality service to the community across several generations. The hospital currently consists of 148 inpatient beds, 12 operating theatres, 2 endoscopy suites and provides general and advanced Surgical services, Orthopaedic, Medical/Oncology, Cardiac Cath Lab services, CCU and ICU, Rehabilitation, and the Central Coast’s only private obstetric unit.

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and dynamic manager, to manage our 24-bed inpatient Orthopaedic ward on a permanent full time basis.
About you (essential criteria):
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum five years post graduate experience
- Extensive clinical and/ or post-graduate qualifications in Orthopaedic Nursing
- Minimum two years management experience, with a strong focus on customer service, within an acute health care facility
- Ongoing commitment to professional development
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to cohesively develop effective relationships within a multidisciplinary team
- Organisational skills with an adaptability to manage competing priorities and key performance indicators
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Immunisation evidence, inclusive of full COVID vaccination
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical governance frameworks and accreditation to the National Health Care (NSQHS) Standards
