About the roleThe Nurse Manager is a valued member of the Wellington Health Service Leadership Team. The role is vital in ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care through clinical leadership, care coordination and quality management of staff, patients and visitors.

We are seeking a person who is innovative and creative. A person who can lead and inspire staff to work together to deliver contemporary, expert care now and into the future.

Wellington is the second oldest town west of the Blue Mountains and is located half an hour from Dubbo and just over an hour from the town of Orange in the state’s Central West.

Wellington Health Service is a 12-bed facility and includes a 24-hour Emergency Department, Community Health and Ambulatory Care services, Renal Dialysis, and an opioid treatment program.

A range of Allied Health services operate from Wellington, and a number of visiting services including Dental, Drug and Alcohol, and Psychiatry services also operate from the facility.
