If you are a dynamic clinician who wants to put patient care at the forefront of what you do, are solution focused, and desire to lead a team to achieving great outcomes, please apply.

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full Time and Fixed Term Full Time appointments.  Fixed Term appointments includes possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

We currently have one (1) full time permanent position available for immediate filling, with a strong likelihood of additional temporary and permanent opportunities within the next 6 months. We are conducting this process as a recruitment pool to allow for the immediate and anticipated vacancies over the next 12 months.

About this role

The Nurse ManagerMental Health (NMMH) leads and manages resources to deliver safe, quality evidence-based care to achieve optimal outcomes. This role also ensures key performance indicators are met and is the single point of accountability for clinical and management leadership for their area of responsibility.

There are four (4) NMMH positions at Graylands Hospital, situated in Mount Claremont. They report to the Coordinator of Nursing and participate in strategic planning, investigation, and review of issues regarding nursing services and patient safety.

What we are looking for

We are looking for people who are driven, resilient, and positive. You will have experience in Mental Health nursing, as well as skills and a genuine interest in providing leadership in both clinical and resource management.

While your qualifications and experience tell us part of your story, your values and attitude speak louder still. At NMHS, we aim to ensure our behaviours reflect our core values: Care, Respect, Innovation, Teamwork and Integrity.  During the selection process you will be assessed on your ability to fulfil the responsibilities of this position while upholding our values.
