Urgent care Brisbane in Indooroopilly, is the centre of non-life-threatening medical emergencies with 1 triage room and 7 fast track beds.
The facility will provide emergency medical care for non-life-threatening medical emergencies to the community. well equipped medical centre with state of the art construction and medical equipment supported by doctors with advanced emergency skills.
About the Role
The Nurse Practitioner will work in the Urgent care centre and see low acuity triage categories 3, 4, & 5. The NP role includes assessment and management of clients using nursing knowledge and skills and may include, but is not limited, to the direct referral of patients to other health care professionals, prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic investigations.
You will be working as the treating clinician within your scope of practice and will be readily collaborating with senior ED physicians as required for the treatment plans and transfer care of the complex patients to ED physicians.
ESSENTIAL
- Candidates must have AHPRA Endorsement as Nurse Practitioner.
- The candidate must have worked in an Emergency Department as NP.
- All appointments are subject to a satisfactory Police Records Check and Immunisation Clearance.
