AddressWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our innovative pharmacy-based clinics. We have opportunities in Bairnsdale, Swan Hill & Derby VICTORIA. In this role, you will primarily manage walk-in appointments, addressing a wide range of minor illnesses and health concerns. As an integral member of our collaborative healthcare team, you will have the unique opportunity to develop your own special interest area, such as dermatology or diabetes, expanding the scope of services offered to our patients. The opportunity to establish and operate telehealth services from home to further expand patient access will also be available in the near future.
Key responsibilities include:
Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various minor health concerns in a timely and efficient manner
Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests as necessary
Building strong relationships with pharmacists, patients, fostering trust, and promoting health education
Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure optimal patient care and medication management
Identifying opportunities to develop your specialised area of practice, such as dermatology or diabetes, and integrate these services into your clinic
The ideal candidate will possess:
Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with AHPRA
A strong background or interest in primary healthcare with experience in managing minor illnesses
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient-centered approach and dedication to providing high-quality care
A passion for professional growth and the desire to develop specialised skills within the practice
