The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing and leading advanced and extended clinical care within the Darwin Remote Mental Health Team. Nurses classified at this level are nurse leaders within NT Health and have a significant degree of autonomy and decision making within their scope of clinical practice.
Supports and provides collaborative, appropriate, proficient, coordinated direct and indirect clinical care for complex client presentations, including working with and alongside less experienced nursing and midwifery staff, within the specialty area.
