- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health Award) (2015) – Generic Level Statements (GLS) Nurse Grade 8 and the Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
- Demonstrate autonomy, accountability and competence for expanded practice in providing client-focused care within a nursing model including advanced health assessment of consumer's/patient's clinical condition, development, and implementation of appropriately documented management plan.
- Provide specialist nursing interventions that demonstrate an expanded level of nursing knowledge and skills in the practice area of Heart Failure.
- Provide advanced clinical support and leadership through evidence-based practice and professional development, service planning and delivery, and quality initiatives.
