AddressThe Opportunity Mount Hospital has a great opportunity for a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team and lead the CCU Ward. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, this role will lead the delivery of exceptional, best-practice nursing care to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry-leading patient experience. As a hospital leader, this position is responsible for the Unit's performance across the following key domains: patient safety and quality, people and safety, financial, and operations.

- Provide professional nursing leadership according to AHPRA professional standards, Code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, Healthscope's policies and processes, required registration, scope of practice and patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Provide professional nursing leadership
- Implement Healthscope's patient safety and quality frameworks by identifying areas of improvement
- Create and maintain a safe, high-performing and sustainable Unit by visibly leading a values and safety-led workplace culture
About You You will be an experienced leader who has excellent interpersonal skills with a strong delivery focus. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and lead successful quality performance process improvement initiatives to deliver desired outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will:
- Registered with AHPRA ( Registered Nursing)
- Experience in Cardiology, Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgical care
- Ability to achieve results through consultation, advice, and facilitation
- High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
- Ability to work and liaise within a multidisciplinary team to achieve organisational and department objectives.

Remuneration: RN Level 3.4 $134,249 per annum full time (+ superannuation) based on experience, in line with Mount hospital -Registered Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2022.
