About the role
Temporary full time opportunity to employ specialised project management skills and high-level stakeholder engagement to develop a model of care, associated procedures, and a staffing model to expand the scope and function of the Police Communications Centre Mental Health Liaison Service (PCC MHLS) in delivering the Mental Health Real-time Rapid Response (MH-RRR) pilot project.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to foster engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including clinicians and executives within the Hospital and Health Services and across the QPS.
- Establish required structures to support project governance and stakeholder consultation.
- Manage risks and issues identification, assessment and mitigation activities within the project by ensuring risks and issues are documented, reviewed and escalated as appropriate through the project governance structure.
- Apply latest evidence and advanced-level understanding of complex, contemporary, clinical practice standards as relevant to the coordination of information and provision of Mental Health advice in crisis situations.
- Develop a model of care based on extensive consultation and informed by data.
