About this role
A great leadership opportunity is available for a Nurse Unit Manager to be responsible for the management, leadership and support of the acute nursing team's continuity of care at Port Lincoln Hospital and Health Services.
The main focus of this roles is the line management, coordination and leadership of nursing/midwifery and/or multi-disciplinary team activities to achieve continuity and quality of patient/client care and outcomes for the Accident & Emergency Department and also Eyre Ward A/Special Care.
Performing in this role provides opportunity to develop professional development and clinical pathways for the provision of care.
Eligibility
Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years post registration experience.
