  • Salary - Classification - RN/M2A - Associate Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager LV2 - $100,343 to $107,279 pro rata
  • Employment Part time (0.94 FTE) - Ongoing Permanent
About the OpportunityWe currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CAFHS Country North Team(s) for a dedicated and passionate Associate Nurse Unit Manager in a part time capacity (0.94 FTE), Ongoing.The ANUM is responsible to provide support to the Regional Team Manager in the leadership of nurses in the service and undertake a portfolio within which they will:
  • Promote continuity and consistency of care in collaboration with other ANUM's and the Regional Team Manager or equivalent;
  • Assist the Regional Team Manager or equivalent in the implementation of practice changes; and
  • Assist the Regional Team Manager or equivalent in undertaking service management responsibilities, eg. Performance management processes, recruitment, staffing, leave management, rostering, work allocation and attendance management; financial and supplies planning and monitoring.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse (or Nurse and Midwife) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, and you must have at least 3 years post registration experience.Additionally, you will apply your effective communication skills including, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills and your ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You will also be able to prioritise your own workload and meet set timeline, whilst working under minimal supervision.If you have demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice and have some experience in the supervision of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses, then this role is for you.To find out the specifics, including the key selection criteria and special conditions, please go to the attached role description.What WCHN Can Offer You

About the Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS)The Child and Family Health Service (CaFHS) is a free state-wide service that supports parents and families of children from birth to five years of age, who live across metropolitan, regional and rural areas in South Australia.With over 100 clinics across South Australia, CaFHS helps parents and families to understand their child's health, development, and wellbeing needs, which can include breastfeeding, sleeping, settling, introducing solids, parenting and play and development. Each year, CaFHS provides over 75,000 family consultations via in clinic or at home appointments, telehealth (phone) or virtually.South Australia records approximately 20,000 births each year and CaFHS offers an in-home initial 4 health and development check at 1 to 4 weeks of age, to support the infant and family's health, wellbeing and development.
