- Lead and manage the coordination of patient care within the Northside Mental Health Clinic in accordance with best practice principles and within a collaborative multidisciplinary framework.
- Provide leadership in contemporary nursing practice and promote an environment conducive to innovation and change.
- Manage the financial, physical and human resources of the Northside Mental Health Clinic to achieve agreed service outcomes within the allocated budget.
- Monitor, manage and report on Northside performance and activity levels.
This position is located in beautiful Launceston - or “Launnie” to the locals. Launceston is located in Northen Tasmania, known for its sweeping valley's and vast farmland. The city offers a vibrant yet laid-back culture with a plethora of options to explore Tasmanian's finest produce; farmers markets, urban bars, cafes, wineries, and distillers to name a few. Launceston is one of Australia's oldest cities, some must-dos include; Cataract Gorge, City Park, the Sports Stadium and Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery. All located within the city centre.
The Ward Northside offers consumers 20 inpatient beds, including a high-dependency unit. Northside is located within the Launceston General Hospital, Tasmania's second largest.

Details of Appointment
Permanent full time, day worker (with on call) position working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 15 April 2024.
