Then come and help lead our new Youth Mental Health Hospital in the Home (Y-HiTH) service!The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) Youth Hospital in The Home (Y-HiTH) is a new service for the North West region, based in Devonport.Our aim is to support young people (16 to 24 years old) who may be experiencing an acute episode of mental illness to receive treatment in their home and within the community, rather than being admitted to an inpatient mental health unit, or as part of a discharge plan from hospital.The Y-HiTH team will work with the young person and their family/significant others to develop an individual treatment plan that supports their recovery. With multiple home visits occurring everyday and additional support via telephone and telehealth, young people will receive comparable treatment from Y-HiTH as they would from an inpatient admission.The Nurse Unit Manager - Y-HiTH works autonomously with the Y-HiTH program under the general direction of the Team Leader to provide direction and leadership to the Y-HiTH program.The Role * Lead and manage the coordination of patient care within the Y-HiTH program in accordance with best practice principles within a collaborative multidisciplinary framework.
- Provide leadership in contemporary nursing practice and promote an environment conducive to innovation and change.
- Manage the financial, physical and human resources of the Y-HiTH program to achieve agreed service outcomes within the allocated budget.
- Monitor, manage and report on the performance and activity levels of the Y-HiTH program.
- Monitor and manage staff performance and development.

- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023
