What you'll be doing
The Nurse Unit Manager 3 is responsible for to the coordination of patient care, service management and leadership of the nursing care team to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care and efficient use of resources that reflects current standards of nursing practices and Western Sydney Local Health District.

Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria: * Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience with a demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change that results in sustained improvements in consumer care.
- Demonstrated high-level problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams across the Mental Health Service.
- Demonstrated application of evidence based practice and critical thinking, with knowledge and understanding of WH&S responsibility within role.
- Knowledge and understanding of Patient Flow process, and demonstrated computer skills and competency in accessing relevant health information systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of contemporary issues impacting on Mental Health Nursing
