The primary goal of PMHS is to identify individuals who have a severe mental illness or are at risk of developing mental illness or are at risk of developing mental illness while incarcerated.

About the role
The purpose of this role is to manage the operational delivery of mental health clinical services for a multidisciplinary team hub in the Prison Mental Health Service of Mental Health and Specialised Service, West Moreton Health to foster an integrated recovery-oriented approach to mental health care.

HP5 Team Leader - $140,767 - $146,883 per annum
NG7 Nurse Unit Manager - $128,701 - $139,732 per annum

About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated expert level of clinical knowledge, expertise and skills in complex contemporary clinical practice, and evidence-based mental health care service provision.
- Demonstrated ability to provide authoritative counsel and clinical expertise, which is required as a member of the senior leadership team.
- Demonstrated ability to provide operational leadership, strategic direction and management to a multidisciplinary mental health team including the management of budget and resources.
- Demonstrated ability to provide leadership in quality improvement, service evaluation and research initiatives on a local and State-wide basis.
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the
- Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association within Australia. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
