ASH Nursing and Midwifery service is seeking applications from Registered Nurses with appropriate qualifications, experience and clinical expertise. Under the Ambulatory Services Division, you will provide expert Cardiology Education and advice to patients and staff, which is person-centred, culturally sensitive and consistent with the organisation’s strategic directions and service delivery agreements.
The Nurse Clinical Co-ordinator facilitates case management of cardiac clients and participates in outreach visits to remote indigenous communities. Work closely with inter/intrastate hospitals to transfer cardiology clients for cardiac procedures, this can be done as an inter-hospital transfer or electively. Overseeing diagnostic procedures at Alice Springs or Tennant Creek Hospital such as stress echocardiograms, Computed Tomography Coronary Angiogram, Exercise stress testing and holter monitoring.
