- Demonstrate high level leadership and management experience in guiding activities of the team to meet the statewide Clinical Quality and safety strategic objectives of the Department of Health.
- Provide senior leadership and specialist expert advice on Clinical Quality and safety assessment and improvement initiatives, including coordinating the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the Quality Governance Framework for Tasmania's Public Health and Human Services Systems (or equivalent).
- Research and analyse state, national and international clinical data, best practice improvement and quality and safety initiatives and provide specialist advice on Clinical Quality and safety improvement opportunities for the Tasmanian health system.
- Develop productive relationships, networks and linkages within the Group and Unit, other Agency units, relevant state and national organisations and other key stakeholders in relation to Clinical Quality and safety.
- High level leadership and management experience in clinical governance, quality and safety.
- Focus on building strategies, policies and procedures that impact on the activities of health service delivery organisations.

- Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% based on qualification type
- Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023
