Our values are Care, Excellence, Creativity and Empowerment.We are inviting applications from Undergraduates (commencing 3rd or final year of studies) to join North Western Program Alliance's 2024 Undergraduate Program.Applications close on 26 April 2024NWPA Undergraduate Program 2024North Western Program Alliance's 2024 Undergraduate Program provides students paid on-the-job construction industry experience, whilst completing their studies. Through this, you will gain knowledge of the operations and disciplines of large-scale organisations within an Alliance, whilst we deliver several major Infrastructure and Rail Projects.Applications are welcome from all disciplines, including:
- Engineering - Civil, Electrical
- Business - Human Resources, Finance/Commercial
- Design
- Safety
- Environment and Sustainability
- Assist in driving QA and Completion documentation completion
- Liaising with subcontractors to gain progress updates, quality and completion data etc.
- Assisting Engineers or Drafters with completion of design documentation eg. As Built Drawings, Redlines etc.
- Liaise with Site Supervision and provide assistance and direction when required
- Assist with some digital engineering aspects of the project
- Assist more senior Engineers in delivering scopes of work
- Follow established procedures, gather and correlate basic data and perform routine junior engineering duties as directed
- A 3rd or 4th year student currently studying a Bachelor's Degree
- A keen interest in gaining experience in the construction industry
- Available to work at least 2 days per week
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work effectively in a demanding and fast-paced work environment, by prioritising tasks to meet deadlines
- Well-developed organisational skills and producing work to a high standard
- A team player with a positive and friendly can-do attitude
- Currently hold an Australian Probationary or Full Driver's License
