About the Role
We are thrilled to introduce a new opening for a minimum of 6 Occupational Health Technicians who thrive on solving analytical problems. If you excel in the exciting mining sector and possess a deep interest in healthcare, then this position is ideal for you!
 
 
Contract: 7 days on, 7 days off, 12-hour shifts
 
Contract Duration: 6 months casual engagement
 
 
 
Job Description:
The Occupational Health Technician will be responsible for conducting a variety of health and safety tests to ensure the well-being of all employees. This includes audiometric and spirometry testing, respiratory fit testing, and hearing protection fit testing.
 
Minimum Requirements:

• Nursing Qualification
• AHPRA
• AOD Course Certificate
• Certified Audiometric Tester
• Certified Spirometry Tester
• A Valid C-Class Drivers Licence
• A National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months
• Experienced in respiratory fit testing
• Experienced in hearing protection fit testing
• Evidence of Right to Work in Australia (passport, VISA, drivers' licence, birth certificate)

 
In addition, the following skills and experience will put you at the top of our list!

• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment.
• Record and report test results accurately.
• Work in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to operate and maintain testing equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
