About the Position:
As an Occupational Hygienist, you will be an integral part of the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Department. Your primary responsibility will be to uphold and enhance our Occupational Health exposure program. This entails delivering Occupational Health and Hygiene services across multiple sites nationwide, including managing the SDS Database and ensuring compliance with occupational health standards, both locally and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting and documenting workplace exposure assessments in accordance with local and global standards to promote a safe working environment.
- Participating in incident investigations using ICAM and RCA methodologies when necessary.
- Actively engaging in the Management of Change (MoC) system and completing assigned actions promptly.
About You:
- Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in implementing occupational health and hygiene programs in high hazard industries such as Mining, Oil & Gas.
- Possession of a postgraduate qualification in Chemistry, Occupational Health and Hygiene, or a related field.
- Professional certification as an AIOH Certified Occupational Hygienist or ACGIH Certified Industrial Hygienist.
- Proficiency in technical writing, including reports, SOPs, training materials, HSE alerts, and briefs.
- Extensive background in conducting and managing Occupational Hygiene surveys and exposure assessments.
