Occupational Therapist

We are offering an attractive contractor position with freedom to structure and organise when you attend referrals. Your roster with AHP is flexible and designed to work around your current commitments and lifestyle. No minimum shift requirements, and no individual KPIs set. 

Nature of referrals: Pressure care, seating assessments, assistive devices such as splints and ADL equipment, functional evaluations, etc. Most referrals will require the OT to organise equipment trials, complete follow-up trials, and compile reports. You will work with various funding sources, including HCP, private insurance, and DVA (excluding NDIS).

Skills & Requirements:

• Qualification as a Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with aged care referrals or overall RACF experience. 
• General AHPRA Registration.
• Two successful clinical references. 
• NDIS Workers Screening Check & National Police Check (can apply through AHP).
• Up to date with Flu shot 2024.
• x2 COVID-19 vaccinations + x1 COVID booster = x3. 
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Ensure high communication is met with your regional manager and rostering team.
• Willingness to learn and further your career in aged care.
