AddressMoyne Health Services in Port Fairy is inviting applications from qualified Occupational Therapists for a part time (24 hrs per week)role on a fixed term contract of 12 months.
About the Role
12 month fixed term, 24 hours per week
The role of the Occupational Therapist is to provide therapeutic interventions, advice and education for clients referred to MHS. Services provided may include adapting yje environment, modifying tasks, teaching skills, education and accessing supports.
The OT may also be consulted as a subject matter expert by other MHS departments or committees.
As an OT at MHS, you will be working with a dynamic Allied Health team, providing Occupational Therapy Services across the organisation in the following settings:
- Acute Ward
- Community Health
- Residential Aged Care
- Social Support Groups
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Occupational Therapy
Key Selection Criteria
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration
- Knowledge and understanding of various funding streams and the available support programs available to people
- Service delivery experience within an Acute Hospital, Residential Aged Care and the Community Health Sector.
- Understanding of Accreditation Standards, quality systems and continuous improvement models
- Demonstrated experience working within a multidisciplinary team environement
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Intermediate skills (or higher) in Microsoft Office suite

Employing more than 200 people, MHS operates a 12 bed acute hospital, 2 Aged Care Residences with a total of 82 beds, primary and community care services, social support group programs and Allied Health Services.
