About the role:
The primary purpose of these roles is to provide specific Occupational Therapy assessments and services to Baptcare customers. Services may be provided in the customer's home and in Baptcare Therapy centres. The Occupational Therapists shall work with customers to identify goals and provide therapeutic interventions to promote independence, reablement and promote wellbeing.
Duties:
- Conduct assessments to determine supports required to assist in achieving customer goals
- Work collaboratively with all/other allied health staff and supervise allied health assistants as required
- Develop capability across Baptcare by sharing knowledge/skill transfer
- Operate according to Baptcare’ s values, policies, procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with organisation and regulatory requirements, including all aspects of workplace health and safety legislation applicable to the role
About You
You are passionate about continuing to grow your career an Occupational Therapist. Working as part of a close-knit team, you collaborate with and support others, demonstrating respect in your day-to-day actions.
You will ideally bring the following:
- AHPRA Registration related to an allied health specialty or registration by a professional board recognised by AHPRA
- Minimum one year experience in a similar role in the Community Aged Care sector- Desirable
- Proficient in computer literacy, including Microsoft Word & basic Excel.

Mandatory:
- Applicants must hold work rights in Australia
- Hold current Victorian Drivers license, registered and fully insured vehicle
- Successful applicants will be required to undergo a National Criminal History
- Must have two doses of Covid-19 vaccination
